1. Service Description
EgressPulse provides passive Shadow AI detection by monitoring your cloud infrastructure logs. The service operates in read-only mode and never writes to, modifies, or deletes resources in your cloud accounts. You retain full ownership and control of your cloud environment at all times.
2. Account and Access
- You must provide a valid email and organization name to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- Cross-account access requires you to deploy an IAM role in your AWS account. You may revoke this access at any time by deleting the role.
- Access uses temporary credentials (15-minute sessions) with External ID verification to prevent unauthorized use.
3. Subscription Tiers and Billing
EgressPulse offers four subscription tiers: Starter, Growth, Enterprise, and F100/Gov. Each tier includes specific limits on detection volume, connected accounts, log volume, and data retention. Usage beyond your tier limits may result in throttling or an upgrade prompt.
Billing is processed monthly through Stripe. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of your cloud logs and infrastructure. EgressPulse claims no ownership over your data. Detection results and compliance reports generated by EgressPulse are licensed to you for your internal use. You may export your data in CSV, JSON, or PDF format at any time.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for purposes other than Shadow AI detection and compliance
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract EgressPulse detection algorithms
- Share account credentials with unauthorized individuals
- Resell or redistribute EgressPulse reports without authorization
- Exceed your tier's usage limits through automated or programmatic means
6. Service Level
EgressPulse processes logs in batch mode (not real-time). Detection latency depends on your scan schedule (hourly, daily, or weekly). We target 99.9% platform availability but do not guarantee real-time alerting. SLA guarantees are available on Enterprise and F100/Gov tiers.
7. Limitation of Liability
EgressPulse provides detection insights based on cloud log analysis. We do not guarantee 100% detection accuracy or completeness in all environments. EgressPulse is not liable for damages arising from undetected Shadow AI usage, data breaches in your environment, or actions taken based on our reports.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon cancellation, your data transitions to cold storage after 90 days. Permanent deletion occurs at the end of your tier's retention period. You may request early deletion by contacting support.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use of the platform after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
